PROGRAM FOR THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN SPORTS MANAGEMENT FOCUSED ON DIGITALISATION AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

The Bachelor's Degree in Management and Digitalisation in Sport at Euncet Business School combines three key areas: management, sport and digital technology. Its structure is divided into two essential blocks to offer comprehensive and specialised training.

The first block covers the fundamentals of business management, sharing an itinerary with the Bachelor's Degree in Business, Innovation and Technology and the Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Innovation and Technology at Euncet Business School to provide a solid foundation in administration and management.

The second block focuses on the world of sport and fitness, including two majors to be chosen by the student: Management of Sports Organisations, Sports Facilities, Fitness Centres and Sports Events or Analysis and Processing of Sports Data. 

DISTRIBUTION OF CREDITS

The curriculum of the Bachelor's Degree in Management and Digitalisation in Sport at Euncet Business School has a duration of 4 years. During these, students will be trained in different aspects of the sports sector, including the efficient management of sports facilities and fitness centres using advanced digital transformation tools.

From the fifth semester onwards, students choose a specific major to deepen their area of interest: 

  • Management of Sports Organisations, Sports Facilities, Fitness Centres and Sports Events: focused on strategic planning, resource management and design of sports facilities and centres, in addition to the development of innovative equipment.
  • Sports Data Analysis and Processing: aimed at the development of competencies in sports data storage and analysis, with an emphasis on the identification of data sources and the use of high-performance tools for informed decision-making. 

Finally, in the last semester the optional training takes place, in which credits can be obtained in the following ways: 

  • Passing subjects of a different speciality than the one chosen.
  • Carrying out academic external internships.
  • Carrying out an international mobility program.
  • Recognising subjects or credits taken in other university studies.
  • Carrying out university extension activities.

The major in Management of Sports Organisations aims to equip students with the key skills for the effective management of sports facilities and fitness centres, with a special focus on safety and protocols in the organisation of sports events. In addition, it prepares students in the field of sports marketing, ranging from the creation of promotional strategies and the organisation of events to the management of brands in the sector.
