Acuerdo de colaboración entre Euncet Business School y UNED

Euncet Business School signs a collaboration agreement with the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). This alliance, which is the result of the previous link between the UNED and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (a university centre to which Euncet Business School has been attached since 1996), aims to offer from now on a series of academic benefits for both students and the teaching staff of both institutions.

The agreement establishes a framework of collaboration that will allow teachers to share resources and that includes the availability of facilities for teachers and students of both centers. In the case of UNED students, they will be able to access the sports spaces, research laboratories and computer rooms of Euncet Business School.

For their part, members of the Euncet educational community will have at their disposal spaces such as the UNED library, a repository that has a wide collection of books, scientific journals and databases (specialised in areas such as business management, marketing, innovation and technology). It is a powerful tool that they can use during their academic and professional development and has study areas, connection to academic networks and bibliographic support services.

The link was formalised in a meeting that took place on Tuesday, March 19 at the headquarters of the UNED in Barcelona. The meeting was attended by the general director of Euncet Business School, Mr. Toni Llop Padilla, the president of the Board of Directors of the university, Mr. Rafel Niubò, the director of the UNED Associated Centre in the province of Barcelona, Mrs. Mercè Novellón Giménez, and the manager of said center, Mr. Isidre Sierra i Fusté.

It should be remembered that the UNED is the largest public distance education university in Spain and one of the most important in Europe, having behind it a history of more than 50 years in the educational field and being present in more than 60 centres nationally and internationally.

As pointed out by the aforementioned institution, this new academic alliance reaffirms the commitment of both university centres to educational excellence and innovation in higher education. For this reason, the ultimate objective of the agreement is the creation of knowledge and collaboration networks between professionals and students, establishing "the foundations for future joint initiatives in areas such as the digitalisation of education, business sustainability and the promotion of entrepreneurship".
