Euncet Business School participates in GES 2023 as an academic partner

On October 25th and 26th, a new edition of GES 2023 took place at the auditorium and facilities of the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower with over 800 accredited participants.

Under the theme "Make your GES," a new edition of the Global Esportainment Summit – GES 23, the largest professional congress in the esports ecosystem and culture in Europe, was held on October 25th and 26th, 2023, at the auditorium and facilities of the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower.

This edition featured over 800 accredited participants, 23 sessions, and the involvement of 65 expert speakers in various topics within the industry. All stakeholders in the sports and gaming ecosystem were represented at this event, and for the first time, Euncet Business School was an official academic partner.

During the sessions on Wednesday, October 25th, Dr. Jordi Falgueras, Director of Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Fitness Science and Tecnhology (CTEF) at Euncet Business School, presented the benefits of this pioneering education that combines sports, technology, and management.

Xavier Riera, a professor of Communication in the CTEF degree, moderated the roundtable "Esports. Today and Tomorrow," addressing key aspects of comprehensive esports management and the role of education in preparing professionals for this field.

Lastly, Carles Argemí, Digital Marketing consultant, Euncet Business School lecturer, and director of the Online Master in Artificial Intelligence Applied to Business, conducted the masterclass "Artificial Intelligence for Living and Working Better." Argemí provided attendees with essential tools and knowledge to enhance their productivity by harnessing the benefits of artificial intelligence and its implementation in the workplace.

The organization of GES 23 has strengthened partnerships with various academic institutions and facilitated the attendance of over 120 undergraduate and postgraduate students who actively participated and learned about the professional opportunities in this emerging ecosystem.

In the 2023 edition, international attendance took center stage, with participants from over 20 countries across 4 continents.
