Talent, networking and entrepreneurship: this is what Euncet Business School's Talent Day 2025 was like
The business school celebrates another edition of its entrepreneurship and networking day by bringing together 400 students and Alumni at its Campus Terrassa

The university's Aula Magna once again became the setting for a Speed Networking session with companies such as SOMICAT, Agap2, NTT Data, Kern Pharma, Ocean Continente, Aiesec, Deporvillage, Lifting Group, Europastry, Groupe SEB, Toyota Material Handling, SEAT, GCT Plus, Occident, Mainpaper, Euno Display, PauTravelMoto, Enterprise Mobility, La Sirena, Igloo Exes Centre, BMW Motor Munich, MINI Motor Munich, Carglass, Tous, CIRSA and LLYC.
All of them made it possible for undergraduate and master's degree students to have a more detailed vision of what awaits them in the labour market and gave them the opportunity to have a first direct contact with the managers of these companies. In terms of job opportunities, at this year's Talent Day there were 85 job offers for Euncet students.
Another of the highlights of the day was the round table "How to turn your talent into a successful business", which was attended by Gonzalo Noy (founder and CEO of Dogfy Diet, a pet food company with a subscription model), Marc Fortuny (founder and CEO of the recruitment software company Nova Hiring), Yasmina Ramírez (founder and CEO of the digital marketing agency Formidhable) and Albert Valverde (co-founder and Chief AI Officer of Kanguro, a logistics operator that transforms the last mile with artificial intelligence). During the meeting, moderated by Professor Carles Argemí, the entrepreneurs shared their experiences in the field of business, training and the generation of ideas and business models. In this last aspect, they stated that "ideas alone go absolutely nowhere without good execution".
At the beginning of the session, the Dogfy executive underlined the risks of starting a startup: "It's best not to set it up, because it will most likely fail. Some of us have decided to do it because of our character, that depends on each one of you. But statistics play against you". For this reason, Fortuny added that "money and freedom" cannot be the only motivations behind an entrepreneurial project, since only those who are passionate about what they do are able to resist failure and problems, which he has defined as "a daily occurrence".
Other issues addressed in the colloquium were the importance of constant training in the path of the entrepreneur and the correct choice of partners and strategic investors. In this regard, Yasmina Ramírez defended that they must have the same objectives and established responsibilities. In addition, he recommended starting to weave an extensive network of contacts from the university stage. However, they also warned about the dangers of depending on the funds of many investors, a fact that can mean "mortgaging the freedom of the company and its future".
On the other hand, the master's students who have been part of this edition of the Talent Day were able to attend the conference "Career planning, job seeking, and career development in the workplace", given by Dr. Akane Cheng, Assistant Professor at Euncet Business School. In this talk, given to two small groups during the morning, the professionals were able to resolve all their doubts about this aspect of the labour market and received personalised advice from the expert.
In parallel to the presentations, Euncet set up a special space in which an Entrepreneurs' Showroom was held, in which 8 entrepreneurs from 6 emerging companies had the opportunity to exhibit and promote their products and services. Through direct interaction with those responsible for these businesses, the students were able to establish contacts and resolve with them their concerns about what it means to build a business initiative from scratch.
